Hold down bolts on P&H Electric shovel
Original Set-Up
Four 1 1/2” UNC Hex bolts and Nuts tightened with flogging spanner
Issues Experienced
- No Control of bolt load
- Difficult and confined location
- Alignment difficult due to movement of motor when tightening
- OH&S issues with the use of flogging Spanner

Standard high tensile EziTite® Hydraulic Nuts and standard hex bolts

New Method = 1 hour (2 personnel)
