Newmont Gearbox Couplers on Polysius—Polycom PM8-24/17M
Original Set-Up
Installation was performed with two Hydraulic Bolt Tensioners which required multiple passes of the bolts (40 in total) Removal was then carried out with the use of a Hydraulic Torque wrench
Issues Experienced
- Extremely time consuming
