Technofast’s FastaJac Plate Heat Exchanger Bolt Tensioners are designed for efficient plate compression, delivering end-to-end cost savings for manufacturers and end users alike. The FastaJac comprises a lightweight cylinder jack, hydraulic cylinders, and the patented ‘Tri Nut’ with a unique cam lock design. It enables quick tool fitting and removal while reducing production, labour, and maintenance costs by streamlining the process and eliminating the need to fully “run down” the Tensioner retaining nut along the entire thread.

With a slim fit design and a standard ½” socket wrench, the 2-stage series of hydraulic tensioners are lightweight, user-friendly, and ideal for quick, easy, safe use, even within restricted spaces. Most importantly, they deliver accurate and versatile bolt and stud tensioning results. X2 and Y2 Bolt Tensioners may be fitted with an optional gear drive to rotate the retaining nut without the use of a Pin Spanner. An Integral idler gear is also used to ensure that the drive tool and nut rotations are in the same direction.
